December 2008

Tania will be signing copies of her books at Waterstones, Plymouth - New George Street on Saturday 13th December 12-2 pm

On Sunday 14th December 1-4 pm, Tania will be signing copies of the paperback of Cherrybrook Rose at National Trust property, Cotehele House in Cornwall

November 2008

Tania will be signing copies of her books at The Book Shelf, Saltash on Friday 7th November 11-1.30 pm

She will also be signing copies of her books at Waterstones, Broad Street, Reading on Saturday 15th November 3-6 pm

October 2008

Tania will be launching the hardback of her latest novel, A Bouquet of Thorns, at the BookStop in Tavistock, 11 am - 3pm. Do come along and join the celebrations!

Tania gave an interesting and amusing talk on 'Writing a Dartmoor Novel' to the Okehampton section of the Devonshire Association.

Tania is recording five short extracts from Cherrybrook Rose to be read on consecutive mornings on the Judi Spiers programme on BBC Radio Devon.

She is also celebrating the fact that her first 1950's novel, Lily's Journey, is to be published next spring.

At the beginning of the month, Tania spent three most enjoyable days at the Romantic Novelists' Association's Annual Conference. This year, the event was held at Chichester, and Tania met up with such renowned fellow authors as Katie Fforde and Anita Burgh.

Tania will be leading an informal talk and discussion on 'Cherrybrook Rose' at Tavistock Library on Wednesday 4th June at 2pm. For details, please contact the library on 01822 612218

Tania will be signing copies of 'Cherrybrook Rose' and her other titles at Newton Abbot Waterstones on Saturday 7th June 12 - 1.30 pm. In the evening, she will be at Morwellham Quay to sign books at the Jazz Festival.

On Sunday 8th June, Tania will be signing books at National Trust site, Lydford Gorge, for their Victorian Day.

May 2008

Tania will be giving a short talk together with local authors Marcia Willetts and Lilian Harry at the Dartmoor Literary Festival at Tavistock Townhall on Saturday 10th May at 11.30 am. Further details are available on the Dartmoor Society's web site (See links on Home Page)

Tania will also be giving a full illustrated talk about her books and the area that inspires her at the Daphne du Maurier Festival on Tuesday 13th May at 2 pm. Further details are available on the Daphne du Maurier Festival web site.

Baskerville Experience

In October, Tania and her husband were privileged to be among a party of friends to attend 'The Baskerville Dining Experience' on Dartmoor, a truly memorable evening which they would thoroughly recommend. July 2007

Tania will be available at Morwellham Quay at various dates throughout the summer to talk to visitors and sign copies of her books. Signed copies are also available at the BookStop and the Tourist Information Centre in Tavistock. Her books are also available at various National Trust locations and other tourist outlets throughout the West Country, as well as book shops nationwide and online retailers.

Tania's most recent appearances were at a private charity garden party on 30th June where she helped to raise money for a local fund. On the 1st July she was in her costume for the Victorian Day at the National Trust Shop at Lydford Gorge.

Tania has recently moved on from the Victorian period to the 1950's and is currently working hard on a new novel, 'Out of the Darkness', which is set in Tavistock and on her beloved Dartmoor. She has been interviewing many local people about their memories of the area, which she has found fascinating, and she would like to thank everyone involved. She would also like to express her gratitude to her agent for all her hard work.

On a personal note, her elder son has recently announced his engagement and she is very much looking forward to the wedding next year. Her daughter has just returned from a round the world trip and is hoping to find employment in the media using her relevant degree.
